The State University of New York at Plattsburgh, also known as simply SUNY Plattsburgh or Plattsburgh State, is a four-year, public liberal arts college in Plattsburgh, which is a city in the US state of New York, serving as the county seat of Clinton County, with a population of more than 18 800 inhabitants, as estimated during the 2000 census.
SUNY Plattsburgh was established in 1889 (and opened it doors to students in 1890) and is currently part of the State University of New York system and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
